### Best Home Furnishings Mastodon Beast Big & Tall Recliner

**Built bigger. Built stronger. Built to last.** Meet the undisputed heavyweight champion of comfort. The Mastodon is a true **Big & Tall recliner with a 500-pound weight capacity **, boasting a frame so massive it is the largest we have seen in this category. By pairing the legendary strength of the Best Home Furnishings Beast® line with an exceptionally oversized design, this heavy-duty chair delivers uncompromising durability and expansive room to truly relax. The Mastodon is the newest Beast recliner from Best Home Furnishings and is proudly manufactured in the USA.

#### The Ultimate Big & Tall Scale

Designed for maximum comfort, especially for taller individuals, the Mastodon features an extraordinary full-recline length of **83 inches**. The oversized frame offers wide, fully padded arms, a towering tufted back, and a continuous chaise lounge that provides seamless, head-to-toe support.

#### Heavy-Duty Engineering

Underneath the plush exterior lies a heavy-duty **7-gauge all-steel reclining mechanism** and a reinforced hardwood frame secured with 2.5″ lag bolts for unmatched stability. The seating system features an independent 16-bar drop-in coil spring suspension topped with high-resiliency 2.5-density foam. This robust construction ensures your seat maintains its shape and supportive bounce, resisting flattening and sagging over years of heavy use.

#### Space-Saving Wall-Saver Design

Maximize your floor plan without sacrificing size. Both the manual and power versions of the Mastodon utilize an innovative wall-saver glide system. As you lean back, the chair moves forward, allowing you to fully extend this massive seat while keeping it positioned closer to the wall.

#### Choose Your Motion: Manual or Power

Customize your comfort with dependable motion built for daily life:

– **Standard Manual Recline:** Enjoy smooth, gravity-activated motion operated by a sturdy, easy-to-reach handle located on the outside of the right arm.

– **Optional Power Recline Upgrade:** Upgrade to effortless power motion and enjoy infinite resting positions with zero physical effort. The power recline is controlled by a simple, intuitive hand wand with a coiled cord. It rests right in the seat with you, ensuring the controller is always close by and can be operated easily with either your left or right hand.
