The subtle distressing adds character and a sense of history to the piece, while the smooth surface invites you to touch and feel the quality of the craftsmanship.

This pie chest features two self-closing drawers and ample storage space for all your baking essentials. The drawers glide smoothly and quietly, making accessing your tools and ingredients easy. The two wood-framed seeded glass doors with magnetic catches add a touch of elegance to the piece and allow you to display your pies while keeping them safe and secure.

But that’s not all, the pie chest also boasts two adjustable wood framed tempered glass shelves with plate grooves. **Hooker Furniture Finishes**

Hooker Furniture employs a meticulous multi-step finishing process of up to 16 steps, resulting in unmatched clarity, depth, color, richness, and resilience in our finishes. Our expert hand-crafting techniques, including rubbing and padding, enhance the appearance and offer a pleasant smoothness to the touch.

**Hooker Furniture Frame Construction**

We carefully select solid wood and premium wood veneers to construct our furniture. Using veneers allows for more intricate and decorative designs that cannot be achieved with solid wood alone. These veneers are placed over long-lasting materials like medium-density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, which are both made from renewable resources. These materials are used in high-quality furniture to provide stability, particularly for larger surfaces.
